Elizaveta Zalieva

Elizaveta Zalieva (b. 1995, St. Petersburg) is an artist and researcher whose practice explores how the ordinary transforms into the mythic. Her work delves into memory, daily life, and the collective unconscious, tracing the hidden symbols of modern culture and the ways magic speaks through everyday objects. She creates immersive narratives that weave together personal mythology and wider cultural archetypes across painting, film, textile installation, sculpture, and videoart.

She is completing an MA in Environmental Humanities from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice (2022–2026), studied at the School of Contemporary Art, Moscow Museum of Modern Art (2020–2021), and received her degree in Graphics from High School of Print and Mediatechnologies (2012–2018).

A member of international exhibitions since 2016, Elizaveta held her first solo show in 2019. Her works have since been presented in institutions and collections internationally.
